Nash is one of the three co-recipients of the 1994 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Science as a young faculty member in the MIT (Massachusetts Institute of technology) mathematics department. He came to MIT in 1951 as an instructor in mathematics. He became an assistant professor in 1953 and was promoted to associate professor in 1957. Game theory is not his only achievement in economics. (News Office, 1994) A Beautiful Mind is a book about a winning mathematician John Forbes Nash, Jr. and the staggering truth of his illness. Sylvia Nasar, the author of this best-selling biography, published the book in 1999, which later became a best-seller. It is a detailed account of John Nash who was diagnosed by his psychiatrist as having schizophrenia while being robbed of his wonderful career as a mathematician momentarily. The book, later inspired to be in the movie, won the 1998 National Book Critics Circle. The biography was quite dramatic in nature as the author relived the life of a genius whose career was hampered by a debilitating illness. Nash believed that messages are being sent to him through newspapers or media. Like any other suffering from such illness, his personal and career life was intertwined with interrupted delusions and eventually his life disintegrate. After thirty years of devastating mental illness, Nash recovered and gained him the Nobel Prize in 1994 for his contribution in Economics. His 26-page Ph.D. thesis, "Non-Cooperative Games", written at Princeton, while he was still in his early 20s, eventually won him a Nobel Prize, but only after his career was interrupted by a 30-year stint with paranoid schizophrenia. From his lonely childhood in West Virginia to his college years at  Princeton University, John Forbes Nash, Jr. encountered Albert Einstein, John von Neumann, and a host of other mathematical greats.

It has its peculiarities which differ it from the tax systems of other countries of the world. However, the US Tax system has both advantages and disadvantages. The last ones require certain changes. Here is the list of problems with the current Tax System in the United States: A fabulously complex tax system with numerous layers of taxation on the same money: taxes on income and salaries, ans savings. According to the statistical data, four of five middle-class Americans pay more in payroll taxes than in income taxes. (Walby, 2008) High rate of unemployment (about 10,3 million persons). Some New Ideas for Tax Reform in the United States Of course, it is very difficult to judge but I think that there should be some changes in the tax system of the Unites States. Here are some ideas for tax reform: Those countries which supply the United States with their products (for example, China) should pay more for import of their products. It is necessary to replace the existing federal Tax Code of the United States into a more simplified version. It will be good to impose no taxes on export and corporate profit in order to save jobs and to make the US companies more competitive. There should be no taxes on education tuition fees. Non-filers should pay taxes when they buy goods or use services. Those who get low incomes should not pay any taxes. 3. Conclusion In conclusion, it is necessary to say that taxes play an important role both in the economy of the country and in the life of citizens. Tax money is used by the government to run the most significant activities. This money may also be invested in some projects which will be beneficial for all the citizens of the country. It is very important to have such a tax system in the country which will be appropriate for citizens of all the levels of income and will allow all of them to live a full life. It was eleven o’clock at night. The rain showered my face as I ran through dirt and gravel towards my step-father’s familiar police car, and with each step I took, rain water splashed in every direction. I hurriedly jumped into the lifelessly black passenger seat of the police car. This was my first time sitting a cruiser, and it was much more petite than I had expected. Studying the inside of the cruiser, I noticed that the interior of the car was entirely the blackest of black, completely colorless and boring. I was eager to go on my first ride-along. I could not help but to imagine what I may witness. Although I knew the chances of something exciting happening were slim, I held on to that miniscule chance of having an exciting night. My step-father, Andy, jumped into the driver seat of his police car, which appeared to be quite sizable compared to the passenger seat that I resided in. He turned on the computer that rested in-between he and I as I glanced over at the computer as curiosity had struck about what was on it.
